Today started off with a shower and subway.

It continued with my boyfriend and ended with my friends.

It was mixed with a lot of thoughts that I wish I wrote down.

Today I found a new love for the band Bombay Bicycle Club.

Tonight I started re-reading the book "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close", and I realized how much I love this book and how much I can relate to the character by his thoughts. I feel like this book was written for my brain and how I think and care about things. (these are all the different book covers)

"I shook my tambourine the whole time, because it helped me remember that even though I was going through different neighborhoods, I was still me"

"I got incredibly heavy boots about how relatively insignificant life is,"

"That's how my brain was"

Thursdays mostly I only have one class instead of two now. So I drove to Santa Monica on this sunny afternoon and in my counseling class are we not only learning about how to survive in college and how to speed of the process or even just understanding the process of transferring more...we also learn a lot of cool things about ourselves and the human race.

Today we watched a intriguing video called the The Story Of Stuff. Check it out, it's about 20 minutes but she talks SO fast and there is so much information, you won't be bored.

Later I hung out with Kevin, Christine and Megan. It was nice. Kevin played piano while we all just talked and caught up. I love chill nights with my favorite people. It was a lovely night ;)

besides my phone breaking, today was a REALLY good day...I think because I surrounded myself by everyone I love. Most of my days are amazing because I am constantly with amazing people. I hung out with Jenna in the morning, Kevin in the afternoon, then math class in the evening with all my math buddies. I came home after class and had rediculous conversations with Brianna, that always, make no sense to anything but keep me laughing all night.

I want to blog this one. You can click to make bigger.

Earlier I found this INCREDIBLE youtube account "watchlistentell" of these amazing indie acoustic artists from London. I love every single one. It makes me want to go live in Europe and be with these beautiful musicians. here is just ONE of the videos, I really couldn't pick which one I liked best, so you really should go check it out here (click)

If you like Mumford & Sons and Florence & The Machine then you would really love this stuff!

Who will love you?
Who will fight?
Who will fall far behind?

I was thinking about this...people (not anyone specific) but, who I used to be close with (as in, they made a impact in my life) and haven't talked to, probably the past 6 months... or even longer would probably say that I've changed. A L O T. I'd have to agree, I mean I like the change..but I'm not sure how certain people who react to the change. What I am doing right now in my life is NOT at all where I imagined myself when I graduated from highschool. I am even shocked at myself. but who cares tho, right? they obviously haven't been in my life recently for a reason, so it shouldn't matter and it doesn't! and it's not even that I'm "changing" for the good or bad, I am just growing up and learning about myself therefor the label of good or bad should be disreguarded and not even a possibility. the way I think about it, and I usually think in weird positive ways...or I think of a really complex way to make something positive is that I am just become "me" more and more everyday. but I guess, in shorter and less thoughtful ways... I have changed. whatever, you live once and I like what I'm doing and I like who I am around and what I experience everday. I'm in a time in my life where it should be aloud and not judged.

Sometimes I miss these people tho.

but I'm too scared for there opinions.

So I stay away.

I just want to be happy, that's all.

and sometimes happiness requires you to do things for yourself. I feel I go through phases where I just have gone through too much and I need to go back out and find myself. Days, weeks, months like these make me want to go into the Wisconsin woods as Justin Vernon did and be incredible, like him.

This girl, I love. So much! She is my sister. We keep each other up on our faith, even when were so completely drifted away.

Proverbs 27:5-6 "better is open rebuke than hidden love, wounds from a friend can be trust but an enemy multiplies kisses"

Today I came over, we made lunch and then we watched veggie tales. one of the funniest things, we were truly little kids this afternoon. "we really need vacation, our schedule is severe!" I'm always laughing with this girl. Laughing is one of my favorite things to do. Later we went to Seans house and played pool...well they played, I watched while catching up with Mrs. Watkins =) It's pretty cool.

First of all, I am lucky to have good people in my life. Not only good, but people just like me...with the same morals and values and brought up in homes just like mine. I'm slowly starting to notice that growing up in private school is SO MUCH DIFFERENT then growing up in public school your whole life. Everyone has told me that, and I was always like in denial because I didn't want to be labeled as a "goodie". BUT I WAS A GOODIE, I want to be a goodie! I like my innocence, and I love the people who surround me.

It makes me miss high school so much! You don't even know.

Or maybe you do, I hope you do.

and I'm not saying public school kids are bad AT ALL, I'm just saying private school kids are sheltered. severely.

I'm so used to crazy good hearted innocent people in e v e r y person I meet. and I still believe that, but I feel I have to dig deeper to find that in them.

Real life, is not like that. But yet, I still find beauty in everyone...everyone deserves a chance to be who they are- open up and explore true feelings and emotions because life is only a sequence of learning events to make you into the person you are ultimately going to be. It's great!

I am just super blessed to have amazing friends. I love you guys.

+++++++++++++

anyways, back to life. I hung out with Christine all day until 8. We went to panera bread, then went to the park and hung out in warm, warm sun listening to pandora radio while she studied for her test. Did cartwheels, ate peach rings, frolic'd the neon green grass, laid, talked, laughed. It was nice. We came back to my house and did a photoshoot at the Catholic church.

Then left to hang out with Kevin, which again, if I could record my thoughts and play them onto my blog I SO WOULD, because I don't know...it's something else, and really different. In such a good way! He's so great. I feel like he brings the optimistic side of me out, even more-so then I was before.

Anyways, for the Halloween aspect of today...there was none. Halloween was lame this year, I mean I went to a costume party friday but I didn't even take a photo of my cute costume! super bummed.

Tonight was a big reminder to make, no matter the situation, it a good night. Something cool can always come out of a crappy situation, especially if you're with the right person. Mostly.

Tonight was beautiful =)
