Day 4

Spinach and Kale Turnovers!

3 cups kale
6 ounce spinach
1 cup onion chopped
1 clove garlic
2 teaspoons olive oil
parmesan, however much
salt, pepper, 1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 can of dough

put oil in pan, sautee onions till golden, add garlic and stir for a few minutes.  add spinach and kale until spinach is wilted and finally add in salt pepper and nutmeg.

roll out pieces of dough into palm size circles, add a small spoon full of kale and spinach mix, sprinkle parmesan on on kale and spinach and fold the dough into semi circles and crimp edges. add parmesan on top.

bake for 18 minutes at 375 degrees

I found that it needed sauce, so I took a basic tomato sauce for dipping
